God is birthing something

God is birthing something. I shouldn’t be surprised. That is his modus operandi. He’s got it down to a science. The God who never changes is in the business of change. He has to be. It is built into the fabric of humanity. From the moment we’re born we are in constant flux. Growth and learning would not happen without change. New life is what God started. New life is what God gives. At that center of hope is the belief that things will change…for the better. Salvation is a new relationship with our creator. Heaven, as we will know it is not what exists now. It’s not even under construction yet.

God loves to make all things knew, establishes a new covenant, gives a new commandment, use new wineskin , preaches new life, renders a new creation, initiates new birth, speaks a new name , sings a new song and always, always, always reinvents a new way for us to encounter him.

The question is am I ready for what will happen next?

Where God Lives

Even as I write this I am fading in and out of sleep on a flight back to Los Angeles. I am lucid enough to capture my thoughts on tablet but close enough to the unconscious not to try to make sense. It feels like an afternoon nap were reality and dream melt together like a 50/50 bar as it swirls with mixed color. In that state everything is possible and there are no limits. People can fly, trees talk, and time is not linear. This is where God lives.

We think too much and dream too little. We are awake far more hours than are required and our minds are stuck in logic mode. Where is there room for imagination to shatter the boundaries of probability? When will we prove the theory of unbelievability…that anything is possible.

There are laws in the universe yet to be discovered. Spiritual physics, untested and unnatural laws, meta-experiences and quantum encounters.

I long for the day when my sojourns into the spiritual realm eclipse the natural and the two become one. Like "Sixth Sense" and "Matrix." Let the worlds converge.

The Journey of a "God Follower"

Welcome to my journey. You are coming in well along the path. It started in 1963 and it has been the ride of a lifetime.

I claim no wisdom to tout or grand insights of life. Only the ramblings of a wide eyed discoverer of the God pursuit. I have "God Follower" tattooed on my arm. It serves as a reminder of my life passion.

My path started in Fundamentaland, but has strayed far from that beginning.

My blog will not trace the chronology of my journey, only the present sojourns and occasional reflections on ages past.

So grab a bottle of water and a walking stick and join me on a path that will wind across time and space, unexpected God encounters and wayside chats with fellow God seekers.
